Shop Lead / Studio Tech (Dual Role)

Saturday availability required; weekday evening availability preferred

MADE Studio & Shop is a community studio with a retail storefront and a revolving schedule of clay workshops and classes. We’re looking for a reliable, team-oriented individual to help keep our shop running smoothly, supporting both our customer experience and the day-to-day flow of studio operations. This role balances front-of-house responsibilities with hands-on studio and student post-production support.

Responsibilities include:

• Operating the POS system and assisting with sales transactions

• Completing delegated cleaning and maintenance tasks (laundry, mopping, etc.)

• Executing delegated workflow tasks according to priority, including supporting student post-production operations such as glazing, kiln loading/unloading, and packing student work

• Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in glaze, kiln, and packing areas

Note: This position is for our current studio at 1619 E 5th St. We will be growing our team further when we move to our new location at 735 Wayne Ave in 2026.
